Notre Dame students receive All-State honors, scholarships

All-State honors have been awarded to six Notre Dame athletes and one student musician.

Anthony Smith was named to the Tennessee All-State Band. He was joined in state-wide honors by Robert Kidwell in football, Kareem Orr in football, and Tyler Enos, also in football.

Maddie Robbins was named All-State in soccer; Stephanie Bouchard was named All-State in volleyball; and Mackenzie Nadeau was named All-State in soccer.

Two Irish athletes who have made significant contributions to Notre Dame athletics have signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers after graduation. Stephanie Bouchard will play volleyball for Trevecca Nazarene University and Alexander Riddle will play golf for Tennessee Tech.

Notre Dame football players also were recognized on the All-District team.
Alex Darras was named the district’s best quarterback, Tyler Enos was named defensive most valuable player, and Kareem Orr was the district’s athlete of the year.

All-District players were Robert Kidwell, Kealey Green, Auston Banks, Anthony Flemister, Josh Russell, and Clay Heltzel. All-District honorable mention went to Chris Hornsby and Jared Andrews.
