KCHS grad named to soccer All-America team

TimBaker_webKnoxville Catholic High School graduate Tim Baker, now a freshman at Lee University, was recently named a High School All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Mr. Baker was one of only 78 players nationally recognized. The midfielder was the Gatorade State Player of the Year in 2012 and the Knoxville News Sentinel’s PrepXtra Player of the Year after scoring 29 goals and recording 16 assists. Mr. Baker was the District 4-AAA MVP and helped lead the Fighting Irish to a regular-season district title.

He also made the NSCAA’s all-region team for the South Regional.
