Diocese of Knoxville men follow different paths on their journey to priesthood By Bill Brewer As the Diocese of Knoxville’s growth rate sets a feverish pace, studies suggest it needs to be adding priests at an equally impressive rate to keep up with the rise in Catholic population across East Tennessee. Henry Flasch, Michael Siegenthaler, Daimen Storch, and Nick Kelley are determined to do their part as they launch into their first semester of seminary studies this fall with the goal of becoming priests in about six years. The young men for the first time gathered together at the Chancery in August to get their paperwork in order before leaving for seminary, and they took the opportunity to share their vocation-discernment stories.
