The 17th annual St. Mary Church (Athens) Fall Festival will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12. There will be a wide variety of ethnic foods, silent and live auctions, children’s games, and live entertainment. There will be plenty of free parking. Join parishioners of Holy Spirit Church in Soddy-Daisy for a one-day bus trip to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, Ala., and the Ave Maria Grotto in Cullman, Ala., scheduled for Monday, Oct. 20.
