KCHS has top National Merit scholars

In October of last year more than 1.6 million students in more than 22,000 high schools took the PSAT. The PSAT serves as the qualifying exam for the National Merit Competition.

Knoxville Catholic High School recently announced the following National Merit Semifinalists who finished in the top 1 percent of high school seniors in the state of Tennessee: Haley Cionfolo, Cady Kupfner, and Olivia Ricche.

In addition, Liza Barre, Riley Belt, and Alex Carter were named National Merit Commended Scholars. Each of these students placed among the top 5 percent of high school seniors in the state of Tennessee.
