The eighth annual Knights Cup Lacrosse Tournament raised a record amount of almost $16,000 for Catholic Charities of East Tennessee’s Pregnancy Help Center and brought the all-time total in the event to more than $100,000.

The tournament was held on April 18 at Knoxville Catholic High School’s Blaine Stadium and Connor Field and featured middle-school, youth, and junior-varsity teams from throughout East Tennessee. More than 20 Knights of Columbus from Council 5207 at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus volunteered for the event. Integrative Physical Therapy & Wellness set up a tent to deal with any injuries that occurred during the games.

Participating teams included the Kingsport Tribe, Irish JV, and the Roane County Knights.
