Notre Dame High School launches capital campaign

As part its 150-year celebration, NDHS is raising funds via naming rights and donations to support a variety of projects

Notre Dame High School in Chattanooga, as part of its 150th-anniversary celebration, is launching a capital campaign with a total goal of $3.7 million designed to strengthen the campus, deepen school programs, and improve classrooms to ensure that Notre Dame continues to thrive for generations to come.

The school thanked generous givers from its previous capital campaign that helped it complete multiple projects, including the renovation of Phifer Gymnasium and areas surrounding it, the installation of new interior and exterior security cameras to increase safety on the campus, roof replacements, and more.

The 2026 capital campaign will support exterior and interior projects such as a turf field installation at Eberle Field, the school’s first-ever softball field, stadium renovations, a new school bus, band room renovations, utility (power and plumbing) upgrades, multiple classroom upgrades, and Miller Theatre renovations.

The capital campaign has a Club 150 that recognizes individuals who donate $150,000 or more and a 150 Society to recognize groups of Notre Dame alumni and/or supporters who collectively donate $150,000 or more.

Also as part of the campaign, there are naming-rights opportunities. Individuals or businesses may purchase naming rights to the NDHS football stadium for $1 million, the softball field for $600,000, the band room for $300,000, four science labs for $200,000 each, and four athletic locker rooms for $200,000 each.
